Kim and Bill invited us to document their amazing wedding on New Year’s weekend at Smithville Inn in Historic Smithville NJ. It was a little chilly out but we had a blast roaming around the village creating these images.

Kim got ready in one of the suites at the Colonial Inn in the town of Smithville. She and her bridesmaids had fun in the quaint suite prepping for the big day. When they were ready, we strolled across the village to the Inn.

They were married in front of the fireplace in the Absegami room at the Smithville Inn. The ceremony was romantic and there were lots of tears shed as they saw each other for the first time and when they shared their vows.

After the ceremony, we went back outside for some family photos and fun bridal party images at the carousel.

There reception was decorated with lots of purple and pine cones to create an elegant but rustic winter wedding feel. The candle lit room looks out over the lake that was filled with holiday lights.

Above & Beyond Disc Jockey Entertainment kept the crowd dancing all night. Our photo booth from Atlantic City Photo Booth made sure lots of crazy moments in the photo booth captured on film.

Toward the end of the night we snuck outside for a few magical photos with the Christmas Lights in the crisp winter air.

After the ceremony, we went back outside for some family photos and fun bridal party images at the carousel.

There reception was decorated with lots of purple and pine cones to create an elegant but rustic winter wedding feel. The candle lit room looks out over the lake that was filled with holiday lights.

Above & Beyond Disc Jockey Entertainment kept the crowd dancing all night. Our photo booth from Atlantic City Photo Booth made sure lots of crazy moments in the photo booth captured on film.

Toward the end of the night we snuck outside for a few magical photos with the Christmas Lights in the crisp winter air.

Autumn Wedding at the Smithville Inn {megan & david} NJ Wedding

We were honored to provide the photography and videography for Megan and David's wedding in November at The Smithville Inn located in Historic Smithville, NJ. Megan's bridesmaids helped her into her gorgeous gown at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club before they all headed over to Smithville.

After their private first look outside The Smithville Inn, the bridal party had some fun on the carousel and hung out on the Village Greene. Megan and David tied the knot in the Absegami Room in front of the fireplace filled with glowing candles. Their closest family and friends witnessed their vows as they became husband and wife.

Once they kick-started their reception, the dance floor was never empty. After hearing heartfelt toasts from their bridal party and smashing their wedding cake into each other's faces, Megan and David snuck out of their reception for a few minutes to create some fun images with us after dark. February Wedding at the Merion {Jonelle & Stephanie}

In February, we headed over to the Aloft Hotel in Mt Laurel to meet up with Stephanie and Jonelle for their big day. They exchanged gifts and letters in separate suites with the help of their bridal party as everyone was getting ready. Jonelle wore a gorgeous Oleg Cassini gown from David's Bridal, and Stephanie rocked a stunning tux from Joseph A. Bank Clothiers. Lindsay Mangano and Ashlee Galletta did a wonderful job on everyone's hair and makeup before the bridal party made their way to The Merion.

At The Merion, Jonelle's car pulled up to recreate a photo of her mom from her wedding day. Once inside, Jonelle was hidden away at the top of the ornate staircase as Stephanie waited below to see her in her wedding dress for the first time. Once Jonelle descended the staircase and tapped Steph on the shoulder, Stephanie spun around and told her she was beautiful. The bridal party hung out together until it was time for the ceremony.

Inside the beautifully lit ceremony room, their guests were excitedly finding their seats. At the top of the aisle, Steph waited for Jonelle, and when she saw her, there were tears in her eyes. Jonelle and her dad paused for a second before going up the aisle, and Jonelle and Steph shared a silent moment across the room. Stephanie's brother officiated the ceremony as Jonelle and Stephanie exchanged their vows and sealed the deal with a kiss. They danced back down the aisle.

The Diamond DJs introduced the bridal party into the reception, and The Merion staff gave the newlyweds a parade of roses. Stephanie spun Jonelle around the dance floor in an epic choreographed first dance. Heartfelt toasts were given, and you could feel how much these two were loved. The dance floor was full all night long. Jonelle and her rugby team created some fun images in a scrum, and they lifted Jonelle in her wedding gown and tossed her the ball in the air. It was raining outside, so Stephanie and Jonelle slipped out with us to play in the rain for a moment before heading back to the party. November Wedding at Adventure Aquarium {Allie & Adam}

In November, we headed just outside of Philadelphia to photograph and film Allie and Adam's wedding at Adventure Aquarium. Starting off at the Aloft Mount Laurel, the bridesmaids helped Allie into her gorgeous Free Love Bridalgown. Adam surprised Allie with a beautiful wedding gift which was delivered by the bridal party. Once everyone was ready, the bridal party headed to Adventure Aquarium where Allie and Adam shared a first look by the river.

Walking down the aisle with a beautiful bouquet from our friends at Betina's at Parkview, Allie met Adam under the chuppah where they exchanged rings and emotional vows which they sealed with a kiss. With the ceremony over, everyone headed to the reception room to spend the night having fun. Surrounded by friends, family, and fish, the newlywed couple had their first dance as husband and wife, and the party was set to begin. Mike Noble from EBE Talent got their guests up and dancing, and everyone was having so much fun that the neighboring fish swam by to check out the dance floor. Winter Wedding Wedding Film Blue Heron Pines Rustic Winter Wedding at Blue Heron Pines {Ashley & David}

Ashley and David chose a crisp January day for their wedding. We headed over to Pittsgrove Township and hung out with the bridesmaids while they prepared for the big day. Ashley had her hair and makeup done by Felicia and Marlo, two incredible talents from Melanie Rae Artistry, and Ashley even personally dressed her "best dog" Dawkins for the special day.

At St Nicholas Church, Ashley walked the aisle carrying a beautiful bouquet designed by Anton's Florist escorted by her dad who shed a few tears on his way down the aisle. Once Ashley met David at the end of the aisle, they made their vows in front of their closest family and friends. After the big kiss, everyone gathered outside the church to fill the air with bubbles as the newlyweds left the church.

At Blue Heron Pines, JSV entertainment introduced the bridal party into the reception. Ashley and David shared their first dance as husband and wife before their guests joined them on the dance floor and got the party started. Romantic Winter Wedding at The Carriage House {Sara & Nathan}

At the end of January, we headed to The Carriage House for Sara and Nathan's big day. The bridesmaids were not only getting themselves ready, but also helping the little ones look their best. With Melanie Rae Artistry doing Sara's hair and makeup, and Nathan donning formal wear from Ozzy's Tux, the two looked wonderful together during their first look out on the balcony. And with anticipation high, the bridal party spent some time creating fun images in the lobby before heading into the Magnolia Room for the ceremony.

Betina's at Parkview designed the beautiful ceremony decor and all the flowers throughout the event. Nathan watched emotionally while Sara made her way down the aisle, escorted by her father past the warm faces of family and friends. Throughout the ceremony, candles were lit, vows were exchanged, and everything was sealed with a kiss.

Afterward, everyone enjoyed cocktail hour and then made their way into the ballroom for the reception. The SCE Event Group introduced the bridal party into the reception, and then everyone turned as Sara and Nathan descended the staircase before sharing a romantic first dance together. Everyone raised a glass while the maid of honor, best man, and the couple's daughter gave heartfelt toasts, and then made their way out to the dance floor to get the party started. New Year's Eve Wedding at the Atlantic City Country Club {Bianca & Ryan}

As the year was coming to a close, we headed to the Atlantic City Country Club to document Bianca and Ryan's wedding day. As the bridesmaids got into their dresses, Bianca got ready for her big day, applying makeup, doing her hair, and wearing the gown her mother wore for her wedding ceremony years ago. Meanwhile, the men were already suited up in their Men's Wearhouse tuxes. Once they were ready, Bianca and Ryan met by the fireplace in a softly lit room to share a private first look before heading to their ceremony.

With friends and family seated and waiting, Bianca was escorted down the aisle, which was beautifully decorated by Chester's Florals, to where Ryan was waiting. Over the course of the ceremony, the couple lit a unity candle, said their vows, and sealed them with a kiss. With excitement in the air, the bridal party had some fun on the grounds as everyone made their way to the ballroom for the night's festivities.

With striking lighting and fitting music by AJH Entertainment, the bridal party was introduced into the reception. And with the final introduction, the newlywed couple shared their first dance. After a few toasts, the party was set to begin. Going all the way to midnight, everyone celebrated with balloons, confetti, and a fair share of kisses to start off the new year.

Fall Beach Wedding {lindsay & matthew}

We headed to The Breakers Hotel in October to photograph and film Lindsay and Matt's wedding. We arrived at Lindsay's suite to find Revolution Bridal finishing up the girls' hair and makeup. After the bridesmaids got into their navy dresses, they helped Lindsay into her Essense of Australia gown from Bridal Suite Boutique. The bouquet she carried from Wildflowers Florist complimented her perfectly. On another floor of the hotel, Matt and his groomsmen got into their formal wear from the Men's Wearhouse before heading over to the beach ceremony.

When the girls arrived at the beach, Lindsay's parents walked her down the sandy aisle as the ceremony began. Lindsay and Matt exchanged rings and sealed their vows with a kiss under a bright blue sky. After the ceremony, we had some fun on Jenkinson's Boardwalk before heading back to The Beakers where Kevin from Starshield Entertainment got the party started in their reception.

Rainy Fall Wedding at the Windrift Resort {jessica & peter}

We headed to the Windrift Hotel in Avalon, New Jersey on a rainy day in September to photograph and film Jessica and Peter's rooftop wedding. Jessica's side of the bridal party helped her into her Pronovias gown from Calvet Couture while Peter and his groomsmen got into their Perry Ellis formal wear. After Jessica slipped into a pair of beautiful navy heels, she carried her bouquet of white roses, greenery, and succulents from The Manic Botanic to the roof where Peter waited to see her in her wedding dress for the first time.

After their private first look, everyone was ready to walk down the aisle, even the tiniest member of their family, their little dog. Jessica's friend carried the pup who wore a navy dress to match the bridal party. Once their vows were spoken and rings were exchanged, Jessica and Peter were pronounced husband and wife. They held hands while leaving the ceremony and ran outside with us to create some fun images in the rain.

Back inside, Windrift Weddings helped a family friend set up gorgeous centerpieces that entwined lush greenery with hints of eye-catching gold. D'Amico Entertainment introduced the newlyweds into their reception and provided live music all night long.

Collingswood Grand Ballroom Summer Wedding {ally & cory} NJ Wedding

We headed over to Collingswood, New Jersey for Allyson and Cory’s awesome end of the summer wedding. The day started off at the Westin Mount Laurel Hotel with both the bride and the groom getting ready in their suites. The girls relaxed down stairs getting their hair and makeup done by Glamour Me Bridal while the guys hung out in their tuxedo t-shirts. They eventually got suited up in their tuxes from the Men's Wearhouse.

Once the girls looked stunning with their make up complete, Allyson stepped into her David Tutera gown from L&H Bridal and her mom helped her button it up. Then it was time for Allyson’s dad’s first look. He walked in, gave his little girl a kiss on the forehead, and then they were ready to head off to the church.

At the church, Cory anxiously waited for Allyson at the end of the aisle. Allyson looked amazing walking down the aisle holding her cobalt blue and white bouquet from Addie Rose II. Once the couple exchanged vows, it was time for some photography fun at the carnival next to the church. Then the bridal party hopped on their party bus and headed to the Collingswood Grand Ballroom for the reception.

After Ally and Cory shared their first dance in the ballroom, Ally and her father had a wonderful father-daughter dance followed by Cory and his mother. Once the wedding formalities were complete, the guests danced the night away to music by Time Productions DJ's and had fun taking photographs in our AC Photo Booth. Summer Southern New Jersey Wedding {amanda & thomas} NJ Wedding

Amanda and Tom tied the knot on a gorgeous summer day. Amanda and her bridal party prepared for the day at her house in Toms River. Once Amanda’s mom helped her into her stunning gown from Mustillo's Town and Country in Red Bank, she was ready for some bridal party portraits. After an emotional first look with her dad, Amanda was ready to head to the Cathedral Of The Air Lakehurst,N.J, to marry the man of her dreams. As Amanda’s dad escorted her down the aisle, you could see the excitement in Tom’s eyes; he couldn’t wait to marry her. After they sealed the deal with a kiss in front of all their close friends and family, they took their first steps together as the new Mr. and Mrs. Bratton.

Before heading to The Carriage House to get the party started, Amanda, Tom and their bridal party stopped at a dock in Island Heights, New Jersey for some fun portraits. While their guest enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres the bridal party ventured around The Carriage House for a few more portraits. Before Elite Sound Entertainment got the party started, Amanda and Tom’s best man and maid of honor each gave an epic toast to get the night started. After their father-daughter dance and mother-son dance, you couldn't get their guests off the dance floor. Tom and Amanda took a little break from the party for some romantic sparkler portraits. fall wedding at birchwood manor {kazue + satoshi}

Kazue and Satoshi tied the knot at the beautiful Birchwood Manor at the beginning of September. Kazue did her own hair and makeup, and her sister helped her into her Victoria Spector Bridal gown. Kazue's family flew in from Japan for the wedding, and they helped her with her long gorgeous train as she made her way to the courtyard where Satoshi was waiting to see her in her dress for the first time.

When it was time for their outdoor ceremony, Kazue's father walked her down the aisle lined with blooms to their arch designed by Meadow Flowers. Their friend performed the ceremony, and once Kazue and Satoshi made their vows, he pronounced them husband and wife. SG Productions DJ's and Photo Booth introduced the couple into their reception and got their guests up and dancing. Our AC Photo Booth was on hand to capture all of the fun in our open air booth.

After dark, we snuck out of the party with the newlyweds to create some romantic images with sparklers on the manor's grounds. These are just a few of our favorite images from their awesome event. Thanks for letting us be a part of your day!

Southern New Jersey Fall Wedding {brittany & john} NJ Wedding

We were thrilled to provide the photography, videography, and photo booth for Brittany and John's awesome wedding in October at the Stockton Seaview Hotel and Golf Club. Brittany looked stunning in her dress, and after a private first look on the grounds of Seaview, they had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony. When the ceremony concluded, Brittany and John jumped into a golf cart with us to create some fun images by the bay.

Once their guests made their way into the reception, Time of Your Life DJ Entertainment had everyone up on the dance floor. Betina's at Parkview provided gorgeous flowers, center pieces, and favors. They ended their night with a fun sparkler send off down the steps in front of the Bayview Ballroom as their family and friends cheered.

New Hope Fall Wedding {gizelle & connor} PA Wedding

Our team ventured to the HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, PA to document the beautiful wedding of Gizelle and Connor. Before their ceremony, they arranged for a private moment together to read their vows. After they tied the knot their guests enjoyed dancing the night away with DJ Gerry from Signature DJs. Rustic Summer Beach Wedding {lisa & matt} NJ Wedding

Summer Wedding by the Shore {taylor & randy} NJ Wedding

On a rainy summer day in July, we set out to document Taylor and Randy's wedding at the Icona Golden Inn in Avalon, New Jersey. Taylor looked stunning in her Stella York designed dress from Free Love Bridal in Cape May, New Jersey, and her flowers from Blooms complemented her perfectly, while Randy rocked a tuxedo from Men's Wearhouse. After a private first look on the dock at Blue Water Marina in Ocean City, we traveled to Moorlyn Terrace to capture some fun photos in front of the Kohr Bros Frozen Custard shop on the boardwalk.

They said their vows inside the Golden Inn at the foot of a large cross that Randy made himself. Once they sealed their marriage with a kiss, their bridal party got the reception started with an Office themed entrance. Bel Momento Weddings did a flawless job organizing this awesome event. Their guests danced the night away with DJ Gregg from Ambient DJ. We were honored to provide the photography, videography, and photobooth for this amazing event.

June Wedding at the Atlantic City Country Club {lauren & frank} NJ Wedding

We were thrilled to provide the photography and video for a beautiful summer wedding this June. Lauren and Frank started their day getting ready in the bridal suite and locker room at Atlantic City Country Club. Lauren looked stunning in her Paloma Blanca dress that she found at Dress 2 Impress Bridal & Formal Boutique, while Frank rocked a traditional tuxedo from the Men's Warehouse.

Once they tied the knot, we headed to Municipal Beach in Somers Point, New Jersey for some fun bridal party images. Pocket Full of Posies Florist provided the gorgeous flower arrangements. After all the formalities, we ventured out for some fun sunset puddle shots. Jason Gabrieli from Events By GM kept their guests dancing all night long. We loved being a part of this awesome event! Romantic Rooftop Wedding at the Philadelphia Library {vicky & zach} PA Wedding

We had a blast documenting Vicky and Zach’s wedding at the Free Library of Philadelphia this spring. We began the day with Vicky as she got ready in The Logan Hotel with her bridesmaids. After Vicky put on her Lazaro wedding gown from UnVeiled, she read a card Zach had left for her asking her to come find him at the Race Street Pier for their first look.

At the pier, we set Zach up under the bridge for their first look. He waited nervously in his blue tux from Les Richards as Vicky walked down the pier to tap him on the shoulder before turning around to see her in her dress for the first time. Afterward, they hung out for a bit on the pier with their bridal party before climbing into their trolley from Philadelphia Sightseeing Tours to ride over to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Around the back of the museum, the bridal party explored the grounds to create some fun images with us before we headed over to the library for the ceremony where Vicky and Zach spoke their vows in front of, as Vicky put it, the people they love the most.

After they walked down the aisle, Vicky and Zach greeted their guests on the marble staircase as they made their way to the second floor for cocktail hour before heading to the roof for a beautiful reception. After a romantic first dance, Joe Moser from DJ’s Available Sound & Light Entertainment had their guests up and dancing the night away. We were honored to provide the photography, videography, and photobooth for this amazing event. Winter Wedding in the Snow at Lucien's Manor {amy & andrew}

Winter weddings are always a great chance for us to head out and play in the snow on a wedding day. Amy and Andrew picked a snowy day to get married with their family and friends all around them. Amy got ready at her parents' house where her mother and bridesmaids helped her put on her amazing Kitty Chen Couture gown from Simplicity Boutique. Her red rose bouquet from Always Beautiful Floral contrasted beautifully against the falling snow as she stepped outside.

After an intimate ceremony in The United Presbyterian Church of Atco, we headed over to Lucien's Manor for their reception. The bridal party, dressed in red and black, ventured out in the snow to create some fun images before they were introduced into the ballroom. After descending the staircase to the ballroom floor, Amy and Andrew had their first dance as husband and wife as their guests looked on. Later, everyone joined them on the dance floor as Amy’s friends and family surprised her with a flash mob dance to “Thriller.” Absolute Entertainment kept the party going all night long as Amy and Andrew danced the night away.

fall farm wedding {jenny & peter nj wedding}

Jenny and Peter picked a beautiful fall day for their wedding at Boxwood Farm in Pennington, NJ. They got ready at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Princeton, NJ where they perfected their vows before the ceremony. Jenny was stunning in her dress from La Belle Mariee Bridal, and her beautiful bouquet from Lodi Flowers complimented her perfectly. Peter and his groomsmen looked great in their formal wear from Indochino, Hugo Boss, and OwnOnly.

When their guests arrived at Boxwood Farm, they gathered in the corral for the ceremony. The bridal party hung back toward the barn until Jenny arrived in a beautiful white classic car. Peter’s mom proudly walked him down the aisle, and in the procession that followed, their grandmothers acted as their flower girls. Jenny, on her father’s arm, walked toward the ceremony under a blue sky of gorgeous clouds. As as their friend performed the ceremony that married Jenny and Peter, nearby horses curiously watched.

After the ceremony, we had a great time hanging out on the farm and creating fun images with the bridal party. The barn was decorated beautifully. The floral details on the long wooden tables were perfect, strings of lights and white sheer fabric were draped along the ceiling, their cake had a little bicycle on it, and mason jar lamps lit the dance floor. The Stingers Band played a song for Jenny and Peter’s first dance and then kept their guests on the dance floor all night long. Stationed by the band, a painter was in attendance to capture the action on canvas. Peter and Jenny snuck out with us to create some amazing images by moonlight, and their guests gave them a huge sparkler send off under the full moon.

Beautiful Vineyard wedding {Franklin & Holly at Tomasello Winery}

We love it when our couples have a lot of fun and show their personality at their wedding. Franklin and Holly’s wedding this summer at Tomasello Winery in Hammonton, NJ was one of those awesome events.

Franklin got ready at his Somers Point Home with his groomsmen. After getting dressed he and his boys hung out in the garage, playing pinball and having a beer. Franklin and Holly’s two dogs, Nigel and Rupert, dressed up for the occasion as well. When it was time to go, Franklin hopped on his motorcycle and headed to the church.

Meanwhile, Holly got ready at Franklin’s sister’s house with her family and bridesmaids. In the master bedroom, Holly’s mom helped her into her gown from Tesi Bridal as her bridesmaids gathered around. Deana Moran from Driftwood Florists & Gifts provided the summery florals. Holly’s bouquet was full of white roses and greens while her bridesmaids’ flowers were a mixture of purples, pinks, and delicate leafy greens that perfectly complimented their sparkly purple dresses.

Holly and Franklin were married at St. Augustine’s Church in Ocean City in front of their closest family and friends. When the ceremony was over, Holly jumped onto the back of Franklin’s motorcycle, and they sped off from the church. We caught up to them on the 9th Street Bridge and captured a few quick images of them riding away.

When the bridal party arrived at Tomasello Winery, they spent some time in the vineyard among the grapevines under a beautiful blue sky. Once their reception started, Franklin and Holly shared a first dance before their guests joined them on the dance floor. Atlantic City Photobooth was there to help their family and friends create a unique scrapbook of memories for Holly and Franklin. Ray from Diamond DJs kept the dancing going all night long. Once the sun began to set, Franklin and Holly took a walk to the vineyard with us to create some fun images on film before they returned to the party to dance the night away.

I wanted to give a big thanks and shoutout to PPA New Jersey (Professional Photographers Association of NJ) for inviting to teach a program on Monday night to their group and guests. It was an honor to teach a little to a group that over the years I've learned so much from. Also a special thanks to those that attended the workshop. It was a blast meeting some new friends and catching up with a few long time colleagues.

One of the unique things about professional photography is the willingness of photographers to share their knowledge with what some might consider their competition. I've had the pleasure of attending countless numbers of these seminars and workshops over the years, so It was an awesome experience to be able to give back and teach one of my own.

My workshop was about using off camera flashes in challenging situations and how to help make the best images we can for our clients. After a bit of classroom time, we headed out around the building and talked our way through some common problems that working photographers face on the job all the time.

It was a lot of fun and look forward to more opportunities to share with other professionals in the future.

Summer Wedding at the Camden County Boathouse {katie + adam = married}

Katie and Adam chose a perfect day for their riverside outdoor wedding along the Cooper River. They had a romantic first look overlooking the river and the Philadelphia skyline. Shaun and Jaimee captured still images while Sia doucmented the day with video.

After the bridal party had some fun on the dock, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor presided over the ceremony on the banks of the Cooper River. After the ceremony, guests headed into the Camden County Boathouse for cocktails and an awesome wedding reception overlooking the moonlit river and the city of Philadelphia. The families danced the night away as we photographed, filmed and captured craziness in our photo booth.

Sandy Sprint Superhero 5K/10K at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

The weather was grey and the sky threatened rain, but as I walked past the Philadelphia Museum of Art, I saw colorful costumes, smiles, and a lot of teal. This is the third year we’ve photographed the Sandy Sprint Superhero 5K or 10K Run/Walk & Canine Sprint for our friends at the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation and SPW Productions. I spent some time at the registration tent admiring costumes and meeting friendly dogs dressed as superheroes. People of all ages were registering; whole families laughed and talked together as they walked onto the grass toward the stage in front of the museum to adjust costumes and stretch in preparation for their run.

During the opening ceremony, each present survivor of the disease stepped forward and told the crowd how long she’d been living with ovarian cancer. For some, it was just a few months, for others, it had been years. The crowd applauded, and the women’s families gathered to support them. The survivors then followed a Rocky impersonator to the art museum steps for a photo.

Group stretching followed, and then the first race began. Runners fired from the starting line onto the running path that stretched out beyond the museum over the water. Shaun followed the first race, and I hung back at the huge vendor tent where various organizations came out to support the event. It started to drizzle, and various superheroes took shelter under the tent.

Despite the rain, the rest of the runners were in high spirits as they began moving toward the starting line for the second race, and I followed them. At the starting line, some runners got in a few last minute stretches while others waited eagerly for the start of the race. When it began, some took off like a shot. Others walked the path comfortably with dogs and excited small children.

Rocky was at the finish line encouraging returning runners from the first race. When it started to pour, bystanders merely retreated to a nearby overpass and cheered from there. The weather was no match for the enthusiasm and dedication of the people gathered to raise awareness and funds to support the work of the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation.

The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation honors the memory of Sandy Rollman and all women who have lost their battle with ovarian cancer by working toward educating people about ovarian cancer. They have several initiatives, including providing support for patients with a recent diagnosis, educating the general public about ovarian cancer, and a program where survivors teach medical students about the symptoms of the disease in hopes of early recognition.

Frozen Vistas – A photographic discovery of Iceland

Drawn by north in search of Icebergs and the Northern Lights professional photographer Shaun Reilly traveled to Iceland in to document the amazing country during its intense winter season in December and January of 2014 and 2015.

“Traveling and photographing in Iceland was an wonderful way to document a world that is nearly alien to us in Southern New Jersey.”

Shaun and his wife circled the entire country via the famous Ring Road or Rt. 1, a small two lane, mostly paved, path the circles the country and traverses lava fields, mountains, tidal flats, and seaside cliffs. Ice and snow covered roads made the trip a bit treacherous but the frozen views afforded by the four hour days were awe inspiring.

The images Shaun created focus on the way that the light interacts with the landscape and the secrets that it reveals about its hidden character.

“In my day to day photographic work, I focus on people. But in Iceland, the landscape took on a personality of its own. Each day on the icy winter roads gave me small glimpse into this beautiful and dangerous world. I found it particularly interesting to get to know the people that lived in the small hamlets and fishing villages in the north and east of the country. In land with rugged landscape, unforgiving, unpredictable weather, and four hours of daylight, the residents of Iceland were warm and welcoming. They have forged a sustainable and self sufficient life for themselves in the North Atlantic.

“Each day we witnessed the sun rise and fall and shed a beautiful light on the rugged landscapes. Images can only hint at the awe struck by the sheer scale and solitude of this volcanic island.”

Shaun's work was exhibited at the Noyes Museam of Art's Gallery in Atlantic City in a solo exhibition entitled "Frozen Vistas"

carriage house outdoor summer wedding

Monica and Jason hosted an amazing destination wedding at the The Carriage House in Galloway Township, NJ. I had an awesome time photographing their friends and family.

The Doctor and Nurse couple from Washington, DC traveled to New Jersey for an elegant summer wedding.

They had a romantic first look on the balcony as the bridal party watched, followed by a fun portrait session on the grounds of the Carriage House.

Monica looked stunning in her lace backed gown while her bridesmaids sported champagne and peach dresses.

Her flowers and decor were provided by the amazing Betina's at Parkview with a few asian touches added by Monica's family. DJ Cincere from Scratch Weddings kept the crowd jumping all night long.

rustic nj engagement session {katie + adam}

Katie and Adam picked a perfect night to photograph their engagement portraits. We met up at the Smithville Mansion which is right near their home, and then drove to a nearby old farm that has been in Katie’s family for years. She even braved her fear of snakes and all things creepy crawly to go out in the field to make some amazing sunset images.

They are getting married next year at the Camden County Boathouse. I can’t wait.
