Summer Wedding Film at the Manufacturers’ Golf and Country Club
October 19, 2016
In July, our cinematographer, Sia, went to Fort Washington, PA, to film a summer wedding at the Manufacturers’ Golf and Country Club for Amy and Ken.
Both Ken and Amy began their day at the country club. In opposite wings, they sent gifts to each other via their bridal party and prepared for the day ahead. After Amy's bridesmaids helped her into her dress and put her long, flowing veil into her hair, they set off for Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church where the ceremony was to be held.
Standing with Ken at the alter, Amy spoke about the two things she had thought about most in the days leading up to their wedding as she and Ken described their feelings for each other and made their vows. After the ceremony, their family and friends were waiting for them outside of the church, and Ken and Amy stepped through the church doors into a cloud of bubbles.
Back at the Manufacturers’ Golf and Country Club, cocktail hour was in full swing as the reception room was being prepared. The bridal party had fun exploring the grounds of the county club until it was time for introductions. As each member of the bridal party was introduced, they formed an arch that Amy and Ken ran through as they entered the room. From their first dance to the last of the night, they were rarely apart. During the reception, they sat down at the piano and played a song for their guests that they had practiced together, and then Ken surprised Amy with a song he had learned on his own for her. At the end of the night, everyone gathered outside to give the newlyweds a beautiful sparkler send off.
