About Us

At Shaun Reilly Photography, we love telling stories.

Not just how moments look — but how they feel. The connections, the relationships, and the little in-between moments that make life meaningful. That belief shapes everything we do.

As a team, we value family, friendships, and our furry family members just as much as the milestones we photograph. We know firsthand how quickly life moves and how important it is to hold onto the moments that matter most — and that perspective carries into every story we tell.

Our goal is simple: to get it right for you. From the first conversation to the final image, film, or heirloom, we’re committed to creating an experience that feels calm, thoughtful, and genuinely supportive. We take the stress off your plate so you can stay present and enjoy the moment.

Each member of our team brings a unique set of life experiences, skills, and creative strengths. Together, we use those perspectives to approach your story with empathy, flexibility, and intention — capturing images and films that feel authentic, not forced.

We don’t just show up with cameras.

We show up as people who care deeply about the stories entrusted to us.

And we’re honored to tell yours.

I love telling stories.

Not just how life's biggest moments look, but how they feel. The quiet moments. The celebrations. The relationships. The little things that may seem ordinary today, but become priceless with time.

Whether I'm photographing a wedding, a growing family, a high school senior, a business owner, or a

home that's about to begin its next chapter, my goal is always the same. I want you to feel comfortable, confident, and fully present while I create images that feel authentic and genuinely reflect your story.

I've been photographing professionally for more than twenty years, but my love of storytelling started long before I ever picked up a professional camera. I studied Literature and Photography at Stockton University, where I learned that every great story has emotion, purpose, and characters people care about. Those lessons still shape the way I approach photography today.

My career began as a newspaper photographer with The Press of Atlantic City and The Current, where I learned to recognize meaningful moments as they unfolded in real time. Later, I had the privilege of spending nearly a decade learning from some incredible mentors at The Foschi Studio, refining both my technical skills and my philosophy that great photography is about people first.

Before photography became my full-time career, I proudly served as an Infantryman in the New Jersey Army National Guard. That experience taught me discipline, adaptability, and how to stay calm under pressure. Those qualities have served me well through thousands of weddings, portrait sessions, and

commercial assignments where every moment matters.

Today, I'm fortunate to work alongside an incredible team of photographers, filmmakers, designers, and storytellers who share the same commitment to our clients that I do. Together we photograph weddings, families, newborns, seniors, businesses, real estate, and community events throughout South Jersey and the Jersey Shore. Every member of our team brings a different perspective and unique strengths, but we all share one simple goal: creating an experience that feels relaxed, enjoyable, and completely centered around you.

One of my favorite parts of the job actually happens after the camera is put away. I personally design every wedding album and work closely with our portrait clients to create wall art and heirlooms that become part of their family's story for generations. Beautiful photographs deserve more than a folder on a hard drive. They deserve to be seen, shared, and lived with every day.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me with my wife Jana and our dog Guinness. We love spending time outdoors, whether we're hiking through the woods, kayaking on a quiet river, driving on the beach in Brigantine, traveling somewhere new, or simply enjoying a great meal together. Those

experiences remind me to slow down, appreciate the people around me, and never take life's little moments for granted.

Those are the same values I bring to every client I have the privilege of photographing.

Because at the end of the day, photography isn't really about cameras.

It's about people.

And I can't wait to tell your story.
