I love engagement sessions because they are often the first step in your wedding story.
For most couples, being in front of the camera feels a little unfamiliar at first. That’s completely normal. My role during an engagement session is to guide you, help you relax, and show you how easy and natural this experience can be long before your wedding day.
I always encourage couples to make their engagement session as personal as possible. Think of it as a mini date with a purpose. We’ll create meaningful images together while you do something you genuinely enjoy, whether that’s walking the beach, grabbing coffee, exploring a favorite spot, or spending time somewhere that feels like you.
This session helps you move from feeling unsure to feeling confident. You’ll learn how I work, how to interact naturally in front of the camera, and how your connection translates into images that feel authentic and effortless. By the time your wedding day arrives, you’ll already know what to expect and can stay fully present in the moment.
Most couples choose to schedule their engagement portraits about 6 to 9 months before the wedding. Engagement sessions typically take place Monday through Thursday, allowing for a relaxed pace and beautiful light.
Engagement sessions start at $750 a la carte and are included in my most popular wedding
collections. More than just photos, they are the beginning of your journey and an important part of telling your complete wedding story.
